Jackie Adams Wins at 2011 Grand Prix Invitational

Jackie Adams of Frederick, Maryland, emerged as the winner from this weekend's Grand Prix Invitational event at AMF Timonium. Winning her division, Adams was seeded second on the final ladder.

Without many good breaks going her way, McMillen fell to Robustelli 106-161. Robustelli advanced to her match with Adams. In a game closer than the score shows, Adams outscored Robustelli, 129-106. Now, Adams was to square off against top-seeded Kristy Penny. Adams was ready and primed for the game, which showed with her winning score of 174 to Penny's 136.
This is Adam's third WNDA Pro Tour victory and capped off an event where she was also presented with the Theresa Belniak Service Award.
